I HAVE HAD TWO OF THE PROZONE AIR PURIFIERS IN THE PAST. RECENTLY I ORDERED MY THIRD ONE. REGRETABLY, I HAD TO SEND IT BACK - THE NOISE THAT IT MADE WAS HORRIBLE. HOWEVER, AMAZON.COM SENT ME ANOTHER NEW PURIFIER AT THEIR COST - ALL I HAD TO DO WAS SEND THE FIRST ONE BACK, AND THE COMPANY PROVIDED THE SHIPPING. AH, THE SWEET SOUND OF NOTHING WHEN THIS IS ON - AND THE SMELL IS SO REFRESHING! I HAVE READ SOME BAD REVIEWS FOR THIS LITTLE PURIFIER. HOWEVER, FOR THE MONEY, IT IS WONDERFUL. I HAVE NO REGRETS FOR HAVING TO SEND THE FIRST ONE BACK BECAUSE AMAZON.COM GUARANTEES ONE'S SATISFACTION.

It works fairly well at removing unpleasant odors, even in larger areas. In small rooms, you will want to use it only as needed. The ozone smell can become significant. The low quality part, it is made in China, which has it's own smell. If you run it fairly constantly, the bulb lasts about a year (no option to replace it). The fan is low quality, somewhat noisy, but loud at times. Sometimes it emits a burning smell, which is definitely not pleasant.
So we only run it, when needed, for short periods of time, like an hour or two.
